i have a secret that i used for 2 runs, 2 gold max dmg in one run, then 1 gold weapon and a black dye.

and yes, normally i'd get like one gold every 5 runs and it turns out to be a shield.

Why does it seem that (according to posts like these) everyones drops seem to have been nerfed except mine ? Did I miss out on some golden age where mobs shat gold/purple items if you just looked at them funny ?

I just don't understand where Anet stated they would make expansions geared towards PVE yet are making it a misserable experience more and more for us PVE players. What in the world would motivate us to buy any expansions that Anet will come out with for PVE when we jsut expect them to nerf the hell out of anything good or fun we find that isn't an exploit. Afterall, isn't expansions going to be the source of the money after their sales from the primary product dry up?

Well, drops are effected from zoning the same area repeatedly. I'm still a little fuzzy whether or not its a blanket effect for all areas or just the ones that you keep zoning. I know that doing quests or missions and getting the latest update seem's to clear the "flag" temporarily. I don't understand why this anti-farm mechanism is implemented throughout the entire game. There are some areas that can't be easily abused by solo farmers or bots but yet they suffer the same anti-farm implementation. I'm hoping this is just temporary until Anet comes up with a better solution, that is if they are true to they're statement about not being being against farming by legit players.

Wanted to add that those that don't see a difference might be because they are not zoning repeatedly or perhaps weren't playing the game before they corrected cetain areas ( Kryta Drakes) or they are use to the current sytem.

I understand they are trying to close the gap between casual and hardcore PVE players, but it seems they are growing more and more avid nerfers of farming as the days go by. I'm just getting worried it will get to the point, where if you enter a zone more then once in a 7day period you will never get a gold drop or anything good.
